The A Player Input App is an internal performance app created in Microsoft Power Apps to solve a variety of performance based and visibility problems.
This project was given to me with a deadline of 1 month. I was given a different set of metrics for each role in the company and had to discover a way to track and gather these metrics daily. My solution was a "simple in design" app that employees would log into daily and record their activities.
•Created a complete internal database to track all performance inputs
•Completely planned, designed and built a functioning application from scratch within the Microsoft PowerApps Platform
Daily Wins Page
At the end of each day, the employee logs in and records scores for each of their metrics. This can be “completed 15 cold calls” or “booked 3 meetings” the system then takes that information and calculates a monthly score that determines remote work eligibility. Each person’s metrics are different based on their unique role.
Audit Page
Managers regularly complete a set of audits for contributors. Previously, this was done on excel spreadsheets in a varied format. This page replaces that and connects the audits to both the contributor and the client. Furthermore, the set of questions vary by role allowing this feature to be used in multiple circumstances.
WFH Feature
With this feature, managers can approve contributors for remote work. On the contributor’s side, they can see that they are eligible and then can “opt in” and select their days they will be at home allowing further visibility to both their team and HR in case of emergency.
